This week we were full of the holiday spirit. Miss Sara had the children very busy decorating our classroom to make it festive for both Hannukah and Chtistmas. We have read many books about the holidays from some classics like How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Blues Clues Chanukah, Hanukkah oh Hanukkah, Thomas Christmas Delivery and Hanukkah Mom and Christmas Dad. Your creative children made our tree on the door by stamping paint circles and using their fingers to make the lights. Our windows are adorned with reindeer and candy canes.
We are finishing up our Pre K lowercase letter workbooks and beginning to work on our Kindergarden books. Some of the children have already brought it home as they finish them we will send them home. We focused a lot on math this week from writing our numbers to doing math problems. You should all be very proud! Your children are all progressing in thier math skills. We are learning to recognize the addition and equal signs and the difference between the two. Happy Birthday to Sasha we celebrated with a nice story from Dad and chocolate cake!!
